Configuring DNS Nameservers on Linux

Edit "/etc/resolv.conf"

Example configuration:

	nameserver 9.9.9.9
	nameserver 8.8.4.4
	nameserver 8.8.8.8
	

Configuring DNS Namservers on Windows

• Download DNS benchmark
• 

  Click the "Run Benchmark" button and take note of the top 2-3 fastest servers

• Open the Windows settings app
• Go to "Network & Internet"
• Click "Change adaptor options"
• Right Click on the appropriate network adaptor (probably labeled "Wi-Fi") and select properties
• Select "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)"
• Click on properties
• 

  Check "Use the following DNS server addresses" and enter the IP addresses of the fastest name servers
